This tender and luscious cured and smoked wild salmon is made from a tradition originating with the native Alaskans. The hardy, seafaring people who have lived in Alaska for generations and continue to carry on the tradition of alder-wood smoked wild caught Alaskan Sockeye salmon. Wild Salmon are high in heart healthy Omega-3 fatty acids that you can eat and enjoy every day. Serve this alderwood smoked wild caught sockeye salmon with chopped onions, capers, cream cheese, bagels, crackers or with a variety of delicious sauces.
Serve Smoked Salmon with crackers and savory spreads, or garnish with lemon, dill, cream cheese, mayonnaise, fresh ground black pepper, and scallions. For an Asian style, top Salmon with slivered scallions, and 1 tbsp soy sauce, then drizzle with 2 tbsp of sizzling hot olive oil and serve with rice or asian noodles. For a real treat, pan fry until warm; remove from heat and drizzle with 1 tbsp Amaretto Liquor; then cook a little longer until alcohol evaporates. Amaratto is flammable so use care when handling near open flame.

Storage directions: As long as the enclosed pouch is unopened and undamaged, the salmon has an extended shelf life of several years with refrigerations. To open, simply cut one end of the pouch with scissors, drain any excess liquid, carefully snip out the salmon and lay the salmon on a long platter. Once pouch has been opened, the salmon has a refrigerated shelf-life of about 1 week.

Recipe: Scrambled Eggs with Alder Smoked Sockeye Salmon
Easy to prepare, serve as a special breakfast or luncheon meal. This is a special recipe that's worth sharing with friends. Makes 3-4 servings
- 6 large eggs
- 2 tbsp light cream (10% milk fat)
- dash of salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- 4 oz smoked salmon cut into small chunks
- fresh or dried chives for garnish
- In a large bowl, add eggs, cream, salt and pepper and beat together.
- Melt butter in a non-stick skillet on medium heat and distribute evenly over bottom of pan.
- Add eggs, and cook turning egg mix often with a spatula until eggs are almost set (about 5 minutes).
- Add smoked salmon chunks and cook 1 minute longer to warm salmon.
- Transfer the scrambled eggs and salmon to warm serving plates and garnish top of each plate with chives.
