Recipe: Apple Coffee Cake

Recipes using Young Pecan Halves

• 2 tbsp butter
• 1/3 cup white corn syrup
• 1/2 cup peeled and diced apples
• 10 ounce can biscuits, cut into quarters
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Topping:

• 1 tbsp butter
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans

1. Grease a 9x10" cake pan with butter.
2. Spread diced apples in pan.
3. Cut biscuits and place on apples, point end up.
4. Top with rest of apples.
5. Combine topping ingredients. Pour over top.
6. Bake 35 minutes at 350° F.
7. Glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, and a little milk.
