Recipe: Apple Coffee Cake
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup white corn syrup
- 1/2 cup peeled and diced apples
- 10 ounce can biscuits, cut into quarters
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Topping:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Grease a 9x10" cake pan with butter.
- Spread diced apples in pan.
- Cut biscuits and place on apples, point end up.
- Top with rest of apples.
- Combine topping ingredients. Pour over top.
- Bake 35 minutes at 350° F.
- Glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, and a little milk.
