Recipe: Baked Stuffed Clams
Baked Stuffed Clams Ingredients
- 24 clam shells, small
- 1 stick sweet butter, melted
- sprinkle of oregano
- lemon wedges
- 2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/2 of a green pepper (slightly sauteed in butter)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix melted sweet butter, oregano, seasoned bread crumbs, and green pepper. Press mixture firmly into clam shells (mound slightly). May be frozen at this point., but should be thoroughly thawed before baking. Bake the stuffed clams at 400&F about 25 minutes until browned. Serve Baked Stuffed Clams with lemon wedges to squeeze over clams. Serves 6-8.
