Recipe: Barbecued Meatballs
Meatballs
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
3/4 cups raw oatmeal
1 cup milk
3 tsp chopped onion
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp canola oil
Flour
Sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 8oz can tomato paste
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp white vinegar
6 tbsp minced onion
3 tbsp chopped green pepper
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- First assemble meatballs by mixing together ground beef, oatmeal, milk, onion, and pepper.
- Form meat mixture into 2 inch balls and roll in flour.
- In a large skillet heat canola oil. Add meatballs and cook until browned.
- Place meatballs in a casserole and pour sauce over them. Place into oven and bake 45 minutes.
