Recipe: Basic Spaghetti Sauce

Recipes using Tones Italian Seasoning

• 2 tbsps canola oil
• 1 tsp fresh chopped garlic
• 2 tsps dried parsley flakes
• 1 small sweet onion, chopped
• 1/2 tsp dried basil
• 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
• 1 tsp sugar
• 2 (6 oz) cans tomato paste
• 3 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce or puree
• 1 cup water

Mix all ingredients together in a large pan. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 1/2 hour. Adjust water to your desired consistency of sauce.
