Recipe: Bavarian Chicken
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 long pieces Swiss cheese, sliced in half lengthwise
- 16 ounce bottle Thousand Island dressing
- 16 ounce can sauerkraut
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- Pound cleaned breasts with side of plate.
- Spray a 9x13" pan with non-stick spray.
- Drain and press sauerkraut.
- Place some (but not too much) sauerkraut on top of each breast.
- Sprinkle top with ground black pepper.
- Top with sliced Swiss cheese using a little on each breast.
- Cover all with Thousand Island dressing.
- Cover with foil and bake at 325° F. for 1 hour.
