Recipe: BBQ Beans
- 1 lb dried navy beans
- 4 cups tomato juice
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic salt
- 1 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
- 1 lb bacon, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Soak dried navy beans overnight in several quarts of water, then clean and drain. Place soaked beans, tomato juice, tomato sauce, garlic salt, Worchestershire sauce, bacon pieces, chopped onions, brown sugar and soy sauce in a Crock-Pot. Stir all ingredients together, mixing well. Set Crock-Pot temperature to low and cook all day.
