Recipe: Beef Tomato II
Beef Tomato II
- 1 pound sirloin tip
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 green pepper, large
- 4 - 5 tomatoes scalded skinned wedged
- green onions, cut 1-1/2 inches
Sauce:
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon gin
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 slice ginger
Gravy:
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- Slice meat into strips and marinate in sauce.
- Brown meat in oil, add celery, green pepper and tomatoes.
- Add gravy and cook 1 minute. Lastly add green onions.
