Recipe: Beef Cauliflower Delight
- 2 boxes cauliflower or 1 medium head may be used
- 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1 envelop gelatin
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/4 lb (1 cup) cheese, grated
- 1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in little water
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cook cauliflower in salted water until partially tender.
- Saute beef with onion and salt.
- Heat milk; add gelatin, butter and cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
- Put meat into 2 qt casserole.
- Put 1/2 the beef bouillon over this.
- Add cauliflower; pour cheese sauce over all.
- Put rest of bouillon on top.
- Cook for 30 minutes until heated.
