Recipe: Beer Dressing for Potato Salad

Recipes using Durkee White Pepper

• 1/2 cup diced onions
• 3 tbsp canola oil
• 2 tbsp white flour
• 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
• 1/8 to 1/4 tsp white pepper
• 2 tsp sugar
• 1 1/2 cup beer (one 12 oz can or bottle)
• 1/4 cup cider vinegar

1. Saute onions in non-stick pan with canola oil for 10 minutes.
2. Blend in flour, sea salt, pepper, and sugar.
3. Gradually add can or bottle of beer and vinegar.
4. Stir constantly to boiling point. Reduce heat and cook for 5 more minutes.
5. Cool slightly. Pour over hot, diced potatoes.
