Recipe: Best Barbeque Sauce

Recipes using McCormick Parsley Patch Salt Free Seasoning

• 2 cups onions, chopped
• 2 bottles chili sauce
• 1/2 cup canola oil
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tsp Tabasco sauce
• 1 tsp crushed red pepper
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 2 tbsp wine vinegar
• 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
• 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
• 1/4 tsp crumbled bay leaf
• 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
• 1 1/2 tsp Parsley Patch Seasoning
• 1 tsp sea salt

To mix Best Barbeque Sauce

1. Saute onions in the oils until they are golden yellow but not brown.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 1 hour.
3. This makes a large amount sofill one of the chili sauce bottles with hot barbeque sauce, cap and let cool.
4. The bottled Best Barbeque Sauce will keep for 4 to 5 months in the refrigerator.
5. Use the remainder of the barbeque sauce to coat your chicken or ribs.
6. Serve some Best Barbeque Sauce on the side with your dinner to dip food in as you eat.
