1 stick butter 1 pound brown sugar 3 eggs 2 1/4 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 12 oz bag of chocolate chips Melt butter with sugar in a large pan. Add eggs, one at a time to sugar mixture; mix well after each egg. Sift four, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add sifted dry ingredients, vanilla and chocolate chips. Mix well. Pour mixture in a 9 X 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes. Cool and cut to serve.
