Recipe: Brocolli Salad

Brocolli Salad Ingredients

• 1 bunch fresh broccoli, cut up (about 4 cups)
• 5 to 8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
• 1 cup light mayonnaise
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup seedless raisins
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 1 cup salted sunflower seeds
• 1 tbsp vinegar
• 1/8 tsp white pepper

To Make Brocolli Salad

1. Make a dressing by combining the light mayonnaise, sugar, white pepper and vinegar; blend well.
2. Place the brocolli, bacon, seedless raisins, onion, and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.
3. Add dressing to brocolli-raisin-sunflower mix, and mix until dressing is evenly distributed over the brocolli.
4. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
