Recipe: Butter Tarts
Butter Tarts Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup yellow corn syrup
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup raisins
Butter Tarts Recipe
- Mix together brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, beaten egg, vanilla extract, salt, and vinegar.
- Make pie crust and mold into tart tins.
- Place a little of the following into each pastry shell:
walnuts, raisins, and coconut.
- Pour some of the top mixture into each pastry shell.

Bake at 350° F. 15 to 20 minutes.
- Watch the Butter Tarts carefully so they don’t burn.
