Recipe: Cabbage Au Gratin
- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- freshly ground McCormick black peppercorns
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsps melted butter
Preheat oven to 350° F. Cook cabbage in salt water until tender (5-7 minutes), drain. Combine cream of celery soup, cheese, milk, salt, and pepper in pan; heat until cheese melts. Combine with cabbage and put in 1 ½ qt. casserole. Toss bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
