Recipe: Cheese Broccoli
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 can mushroom pieces, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2/3 roll Kraft Garlic cheese (may substitute one jar Old English Cheese)
- McComick garlic powder
- 2 pkgs cooked broccoli, drained well
- 3 big tbsps Sunkist Almond Accents
Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt margarine; add onions and mushrooms and saute'. Add cream of mushroom soup and cheese. Stir until smooth. Add 2 pkgs cooked broccoli, drained well. Add almonds. Place in casserole and sprinkle on topping. Topping: ½ C. Pepperidge herbed stuffing mix; saute' in butter until brown. Place on top of casserole. Bake until heated through.
