Recipe: Cheesecake

Recipes using Argo Pure Cornstarch

• 4 tbsps soft butter
• 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/4 cup sugar

• 1 lb cottage cheese
• 1 lb cream cheese
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs, slightly beaten
• 3 tbsps flour
• 3 tbsps cornstarch
• 1 1/2 tbsps lemon juice
• 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
• 1/4 lb butter, melted
• 16oz sour cream
• nutmeg or fruit (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Blend the two cheeses until creamy.
3. Add sugar and eggs; mix well.
4. Add flour, cornstarch, lemon juice and vanilla; mix at low speed.
5. Blend in melted butter and sour cream.
6. Pour over graham cracker crust.
7. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes.
8. Turn off heat and leave in over for 2 hours.
9. Cool overnight in refrigerator.
10. Sprinkle with nutmeg or top with fruit, if desired.
