Recipe: Chicken In Wine
- 3 chicken breasts, split
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 3 tsp flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup Chablis wine
- 1/2 cup unblanched sliced almonds
- 1 small jar pimento, chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
Place chicken pieces in flat baking dish; sprinkle with half the salt.
Combine flour and 1/4 cup of sour cream; blend until smooth.
Add remaining salt, sour cream, soup and wine; pour over the chicken.
Sprinkle with almonds, pimento, and paprika; bake at 325° F for about 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 4.
