Recipe: Chicken Suprema
- 4 chicken breasts, boned
- ½ cup butter
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb egg noodles, cooked and drained
- flour for dredging
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- Cut chicken into strips.
- Dredge them in flour and saute in hot butter with onion and garlic.
- Add cream and deglaze pan.
- Season with nutmeg and clove and bring to a simmer.
- Taste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper. Add noodles and toss.
- Turn into casserole and sprinkle top with bread crumbs, then cheese.
- Bake in a 400° F oven for 5 minutes or until golden.
