Recipe: Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients in Chocolate Fudge

• 1 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 tbsp Hershey's Cocoa
• 1 tbsp Karo syrup
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 rounded tbsp butter
• 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

To make Chocolate Fudge

1. Combine sugar, milk, cocoa, syrup, and salt in a saucepan.
2. Cook until mix reaches soft ball stage^*.
3. Let cool slightly, then beat in butter and vanilla.
4. Continue beating until fudge cools enough to hold its shape. Let harden and then cut into 2" x 2" squares.

^*This recipe requires a candy thermometer.
