Recipe: Chop Suey Casserole
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup uncooked Royal Basmati Rice
- 1 1/2 cups sliced celery
- 2 medium sweet onions, sliced
- 1 small bottle low sodium soy sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 soup cans of water
Preheat oven to 375° F. Put uncooked rice in 2½ quart casserole dish. Place lean ground beef in skillet; brown lean ground beef. Place browned lean ground beef on top of rice. Add celery, sliced onions, on top of browned ground beef. Mix water and mushroom soup together; pour over casserole. Pour soy sauce over casserole. Do not add additional salt. Bake one hour at 375° F.
