Recipe: Corn Dogs

Recipes using Baking Powder

Corn Dog Ingredients

• 2/3 cup corn meal
• 1 cup flour
• 3 tsp baking powder
• 4 tbsp minced onion
• 1 package frankfurthers
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 beaten egg
• 1 cup milk
• Sticks to put frankfurthers on

To make Corn Dogs

1. Mix all ingredients together throughly.
2. Put frankfurthers on sticks or dip frankfurthers by itself in the corn dog batter and deep fat fry until golden brown.
3. If corn dog batter is too thick you can add more milk (but not too much) as batter won’t stick on the frankfurthers if too thick.
