Recipe: Crab Imperial

Recipes using Tones Ground Paprika

Ingredients in Crab Imperial

• 1 pound container of crab meat
• 2 eggs
• 10 saltine crackers
• 1/4 cup half and half
• 3/4 tsp dry mustard
• 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped fine
• 1/8 tsp white pepper
• 3 tbsp butter
• 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 4 tbsp mayonnaise
• Paprika
• 8 tsp mayonnaise

1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
2. Beat the eggs.
3. Combine the eggs with the crackers, half & half, dry mustard, green pepper, white pepper, butter, Worcestershire sauce, and 4 tbsp mayonnaise.
4. Gently fold the seasoned egg mixture into the crab meat.
5. Spoon into 8 clean crab shells, or baking shells.
6. Top each crab shell with 1 tsp mayonnaise and s sprinkle of paprika.
7. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
