  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. Add sugar, salt and vanilla to egg whites. Mix well.
  4. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by tablespoon onto a greased and floured cookie sheet.
  6. Place in oven. Immediately turn off the oven. Allow to cook for 3 hours before removing.
