Recipe: Crusty Broiled Tomatoes

Recipes using McCormick Black Pepper, Ground

• 4 medium tomatoes
• Dijon mustard
• 6 tbsps melted butter or margarine
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. Cut tomatoes in half crosswise.
2. Spread cut side with Dijon mustard.
3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
4. Combine butter, bread crumbs and cheese.
5. Spoon mixture on each half.
6. Broil until crumbs are brown and tomatoes are tender.
