Recipe: Deviled Crab
- backfine crab meat
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Topping
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix crab meat, salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, egg, mayonnaise, black pepper and cayenne pepper thoroughly.
- Fill crab shells or small baking dishes with mixture.
- Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over crab mixture.
- Place shells or baking dishes on a cookie sheet and bake until topping is lightly browned about 5 to 10 minutes.
