Recipe: Eastern Shore Crab Cakes
Eastern Shore Crab Cakes
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 stick butter
- 1 hard boiled egg
- Bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Parsley to taste
To make Eastern Shore Crab Cakes
- Mix the white pepper, egg, melted butter, lemon juice, diced hard boiled egg, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl.
- Add the crab meat to the bowl, and mix in 1/4 to 1/2 cup of bread crumbs a little at a time until the crab meat mix can be formed into crab cakes.
- Form into 4 - 6 crab cakes, and broil or pan fry until golden brown, then turn over and brown the other side.
