Recipe: Easy Chili
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 28 oz can whole tomatoes
- 16 oz can kidney beans
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Brown the ground beef and onions in a pan over medium heat. Stir frequently. Drain all fat.
- Stir in tomatoes with the liquid, and liquid from beans (don't add beans yet).
- All all remaining ingredients (except beans). Simmer for 45 minutes. Add a little water if needed.
- Stir in the beans; simmer for 15 minutes more.
