Recipe: Easy Lasagna
- 1 lb lean ground chuck or sausage
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 (6oz) can tomato paste
- 1 can tomatoes (1 lb 4oz)
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 pkg (8oz) lasagna noodles
- 8oz Swiss cheese slices
- 1 (12oz) carton cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese (add to cottage cheese)
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Brown ground beef or sausage and garlic.
- Drain of grease.
- Add tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano; mix well.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Cook noodles as directed.
- Alternate layers of meat sauce, noodles and cheese; beginning and ending with meat sauce.
- Bake 20-30 minutes at 350° F.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
