Recipe: Farmers Wifes Oatmeal Cookies

Recipes using Ghirardelli Bittersweet Chocolate Chips

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup wheat germ
• 1 tsp sea salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 3 cups oatmeal
• 12 oz Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips

1. Cream margarine and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
2. Add flour, wheat germ, salt, and soda. Beat well.
3. Add 3 cups oatmeal and Ghirardelli chocolate chips. Mix well.
4. Drop by tablespoonful on cookie sheets.
5. Bake 12 to 15 minutes in a 350° F. preheated oven.
