Recipe: Fish Imperial

Recipes using Tones Ground Pepper

• 2 cups cooked fish, flaked
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup fish stock
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• strips of pimento
• 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 3 tbsps vinegar
• 1 tsp fine sea salt

1. Preheat oven to 225° F.
2. Combine fish flakes and vinegar.
3. Whip the egg whites until stiff and then set aside.
4. Beat the egg yolks, add milk, fish stock, salt, pepper, onion powder, parsley, fish flakes and mix well.
5. Pour into a greased baking dish and garnish with strips of pimento.
6. Set in a pan of warm water and place in oven.
7. Bake slowly about 30-45 mins. or until silver knife when inserted comes out clean.
