Recipe: Florentine Salmon Steaks
- 1 envelope sour cream sauce mix
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- 4 salmon steaks, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp fine ground sea salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 (10 oz) pkgs frozen chopped spinach
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Thaw chopped spinach.
- Stir milk into sauce mix till smooth.
- Let stand 10 mins.
- Blend mayonnaise into sauce mixture.
- Spread thawed, uncooked spinach in bottom of greased, shallow baking dish.
- Sprinkle with sea salt, dot with butter, and place salmon steaks over spinach.
- Spread salmon with the sour cream mixture and top with bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350° F for 30 mins or until salmon is done.
