Recipe: Forgotten Chicken
- large chicken, cut in pieces
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can celery soup
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup rice
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- paprika
- Preheat oven to 350° f.
- Butter large casserole and line with rice.
- Heat soup and milk.
- Pour soup mixture over rice.
- Lay chicken on top of rice.
- Put mushrooms and chestnuts on top of chicken.
- Sprinkle with onion soup mix and paprika.
- Cover casserole dish and bake for 2 hours at 350° f.
- Don't peek while it is cooking.
