There is a place near my house that has deep fired pickles .. they are great ... but they have a dipping sauce that almost seems like a cross of thousand island dressing and a Italian dressing ... I keep asking the owner of the place what is in it and he gives me the wink and saying it is his special pickle sauce and won't give it up. I have tried to replicate it with the Thousand Ilsand and Italian dressing mix but I am missing something... any hints
