Hi MamaM,

Being the type who likes to "BOOST" my foods nutritional value I very often make my breads with egg & milk added, I never even thought of soyflour, but I think it's a neat idea!
My very long story:
My 8 yr old has allergies and was tested, she is allergic to soy products, tomatoes, chicken, grapes, and apples (of the edible allergies) Well I'm sure you can imagine, and all things she loves (soy sauce on rice a favorite)!!! I let her eat small amounts of all of them from time to time so her system can adjust and get used to them, I have had good results so far. If she gets too much conjestion I just leave them out of her diet for a while and re-introduce them in small quantities at a later time. Doing this she has done well eating those items that the tests showed she was allergic to. She is not allercic to milk, O.J. or any citrus, and some of the other well known allergins. She does not eat very large quantities at meal time, so that is why I try and "Boost" nutritional values. And if not for her love of hot chocolate milk I think possibly she would never have thrived at all. And I often have to "trick" her into eating more, it is amazing how we seem to worry about our kids starving even in America!
so...........now that I got that off my chest
I think it is terrific to "incorporate" nutritional value into our recipes whenever possible.
