What a cute story, I think that was very smart to add hot dogs to split pea soup. I always like my veggies and the park!! When I was growing up my Mom did most of the cooking. I liked her cooking it was good. When my Mom didn't feel well then my Dad would cook or order out lol.. I thought it was fun to see what he would come up with. He would make chili dogs or Hamburgs, or get MCdonald's. Order a pizza. He would wing it it was funny lol. Cookie
