I didn't either... but then I gave in one day and gave her a couple small bites. She didn't have any problem with it, it was plain vanilla and it was only like 5 small bites. The bites weren't really bites though... more like getting a little of the melted ice cream on the tip of my spoon. Her first bite was a hoot! You will never forget their face the first time they get a bite of something that's truly cold.
