I've been sucessful adding a little Amaretto to a pot roast recipe. Just thinking about Shrimp and Amaretto is making me hungry.
Thanks.. always nice to have another salmon idea to try. Omega 3 fatty acids are our friends

Anyways, dinner tonight was a bit of a surprise but something I'm not going to try again anytime soon. I had these little round chuck steaks that didn't do very well when pan seared so I decided to use what was left and made 'em a crock pot meal. I seared the tough little buggers, and then threw tomatoes, onion, garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, red chiles and honey in a blender and made a very yucky muck that I used at first for simmering the meat for an hour. Then tossed everything in the crock pot for 8 hours on low.

Actually turned out better than expected and was pretty darn good over white rice. Honey and vinegar makes everything better
