I poke around for a long time looking at different products and comparing them. I like T-Fal, but the non-stick doesn't last more than 4 years. Maybe I'm picky there but I think 10 years would be better.
I have lots of odds and ends in cookware including cast iron. The cast iron cookware is solid and is in the same shape as when I bought it. But it's not non-stick, and I don't think I could cook eggs in it. It's great for soups, stews, and cooking in the oven though.
