Ok, So lets get this started. Which is better, gas or charcoal briquette. Which one makes the best bbq?

Charcoal. And started in a charcoal chimney. I used to thnk it didn't matter how you lit the charcoal. But after buying a charcoal chimney last summer, I changed my mind. A charcoal chimney lights the charcoal faster, more even, and without using petroleum products to fould out flavor of food.

Charcoal, no question about it. The difference in taste is unbelievable.

I think we had a post about this a few months ago, let me see if I can dig up the thread.

I agree with charcoal, if I wanted to cook with gas I would just cook on my stove at home.

When the kids are starving I use gas, they don't know the difference anyway. But for me always charcoal, can't beat the flavor. Charcoal chimney's are the best for starting your coals.
