Today I'm making beef stroganoff for dinner tonight

1 pound sirloin cut up small
2 tbls butter
4 tbls flour
black pepper
2 cups water
2 beef bouilion cubes
1/2 cup catsup
chopped scallions
mushrooms sliced thin
worcestershire sauce
gravy master
16 oz sour cream

Brown meat in melted butter using a big pot
then add flour and stir to thicken
add remaining ingredients except sour cream

Cook egg noodles and just before serving mix sour cream with sauce and serve with the noodles

The stroganoff looks great. Wish I could get away with using mushrooms more. I love them.
I usually use more of a button mushroom whole so everyone can pick them out with no problems and throw them onto my plate.

Yeah I usually get the stuff my daughter won't touch LOL

LOL! Last night we had meatloaf, and there were all these little itsy bitsy pieces of onion my grandson had left on his plate! He'd picked every last one out of his meatloaf!:D Now I know he could not taste them:mad: it is all in his cotton-pickin little mind!!!

My son still does that when he is at our house and he's approaching 30 years old. BTW I will try this one too. I love Stroganoff made with sour cream.

Rick - Please tell me that's a typo and really 3 Tbs flour. 3 lbs would be an awful lot of flour.
