Cut cherry tomatoes in half. Lay them on a plate, cut side down.
Cut cubes of fresh mozzarella, just a little smaller than the tomato halves.
Tear basil leaves into large pieces.
With a decorative pick, spear a basil piece, then a cube of cheese, then stick it into a tomato half.
Very lightly drizzle balsamic vinaigrette around the tomatoes.
