FRIED CHICKEN
WITH A KICK

Chicken pieces (with or without skin)
Hot sauce
Self Rising flour
Vegetable oil

Marinate chicken pieces in hot sauce for 5-10 minutes, while heating vegetable oil for frying. (Make sure the oil is very hot, almost smoking, to ensure the crust stays on the chicken.)

When oil is hot, roll the chicken in flour & place in the hot oil. Fry, turning occasionally, for 6-10 minutes.

Remove chicken to paper towels to absorb excess oil.

**Self-rising flour is used to get a “puffy” coat on the chicken. All-purpose flour can easily substitute.
