epicurious.com, smells like spam, but I am new here. What do you guys think??

How about 50? posts, before posting link???

And sorry if I offend, but can you not copy and paste???

The idea of the recipe sounds good. But, learned a while back that many of these are spam and/or phishing and after opening one I get ALL SORTS of e-mails.

And, if the OP doesn't answer back, it's a freakin' bot!

I'm with you, Nan. I always assume a posting like that is, at best, somebody trolling for activity to their own site. Or, more usually, spam.

It's amazing how few of those posters are ever heard from again.

Any newbie should know better!

Either share your recipe or don't!

I have no desire to look at any recipe that is introduced in such a way.

Move on - not wanted here. We share recipes, hints and wonderful conversation here - so either play by our rules or take your toys home with you.

And that is my opinion!

Mama is absolutely right! But you know what I bet? The person who posted that will never even return to this forum and see our replies! They just do not know what they missed out on by belonging to a really really terrific forum. I think also that any serious cook and or aspiring cook could recognize that this is a really unique forum and say "Hey I like this and I'll give it a shot" not just mention some stinking web address and disappear. Jafo usually gives the spammers "down the road" :D and just for this time I enjoyed getting in on the action;)
