Alrighty folks, Fridays are Salad Bar Day on 1st shift at my job. Since I work 3rd shift I seldom take part- but I'm working a long shift tomorrow and I'll be taking a White Tie Spinach Caesar w/ Chicken which is simply a huge Ceasar salad using spinach leaves in place of Romaine, and bow tie pasta subbed for croutons, w/ split grape tomatoes and grilled chix breast tossed-in. (Actually- it's about half-greens/half-pasta).
My boss always provides a huge bowl of plain greens and a protein- and everyone else takes various compound salads such as cole slaw and potato salad, to dressings and salad toppers ranging from peas to carrot stix, jicama, hard-boiled eggs, jello, etc.
What would YOU bring to tomorrow's Friday Salad Bar?
