Peeps Posse

Ingredients:

Several pkgs. of yellow chick Peeps
1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips
Wooden skewers

Directions:

Thread peeps onto wooden skewers
Melt chocolate chips in double boiler over boiling water - don't let water touch bottom of upper pan. Dip bottoms of Peeps into melted chocolate. Place on small pan or paper plate and refrigerate until chocolate has hardened.

Wrap ends of wooden skewers in colorful ribbons for decorations. Ignore squawking of Peeps whose bottoms and tails are now mired in hardened chocolate. These little guys with the chocolate feet are fun for kids and grownups alike! A nice twist on Easter tradition..............................

I've read a lot of controversy over the years about which is better - fresh, soft, squishy Peeps or Peeps that have been around for several days and become "hardened" to the world. Eat these any way you personally prefer!
They're wonderful in any format. :D:D
