This recipe for Baked Polenta makes a hearty side dish.
Ingredients for making Baked Polenta:
Polenta
Butter
Gruyere cheese
Parmesan cheese
Instructions for preparing Baked Polenta:
Cook the Polenta over hot water and allow it to cool.
Slice in 1/2 inch slices and place in a buttered baking dish, buttering each slice and placing a thin slice of Gruyere cheese between each slice. Dot with butter at the top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees till delicately brown and cheese is melted.
