as hobby,what do yall collect?

I don't collect much of anything. I do have 4 ceiling fans in the house but that's only to keep cool with. A few Bonzai trees but probably ones a serious collector would scoff at but I enjoy them. By in large I would say my wife is a collector (of everything) and I am a closet trasher.
 
Let's see..........

I collect and build models
I have a collection of diecast cars
I'm a woodworker so I have more tools than a lot of people, but I really prize my old wood working tools.
I've recently discovered the joy of cooking with cast iron, so that collection is just starting out.

If money were no object ...............I'd have a whole lot more that I collect.
 
I am not really a collector of anything. But if having to chose it would be guns and knives I have more of them than anything else. Course if its old I like it. I used to collect old bottles but gave them away. CF:)
 
I collect Alaska Native art. And cookbooks- though I think of that sadly as more of an addiction than simple "collecting". Hee-Hee! :)
 
I collect teddy bears ...prefer Winnie The Pooh. I have about 100 bears in storage. I also collect Disney coffee mugs, cookbooks and kitchen gadgets.

it must be my sex-appeal - I'm just a spam magnet and these days I must be loved - there are so many of them!!!!

I ban over a hundred a day before they can post - they must love me so much!!!!

BTW - thanks Rick - I'm glad you find it funny!!!!!!! bet you didn't know I had so much spam appeal! LOL
 
I find it funny in an endearing sort of way, because I know how Italian women can get when you push the wrong buttons and get on their bad sides :D
 
Oh I can relate to that. When I was around 10 years old I and several friends were walking by the local Catholic School when my dog ran over to the house across the street where the Nuns stayed. Well he must have been messing with something he shouldn't be messing with since one of the nuns walked out on the back stoop and I heard a low BOOM. I could see her break open the shotgun to get the shell out and my dog who was about 60 yds from her when it began was now headed for the house. He went past me without even saying hello. She had odviously burned him with some bird shot and one friend who went to that school said "Oh that's Sister such and such and she's Italian so don't mess with her". Needless to say I didn't.
 
I'm not that bad using a shot gun fellas - but it does take a lot before I explode - that is when Satan himself hides! I'm not a b*tch - but hurt anyone in my family or continue to push buttons that have rusted and prefer to stay that way - and then the she-devil comes out. Nothing like a 5'9" blond Amazon that has just become your worst nightmare!

and I don't get along at all with spammers......
 
I'm a lot like mama... it takes a lot to force me across that line. But I'm a BIG guy and once I am shoved across that line it takes a heckuva force to get me pulled back across it! :)
 
Hey Kev - don't forget - I am a woman - and we are famous for having the memory of an elephant. We can go back in time to any specific day, date, time and give you the tiniest details of everything while you guys just stand there and scratch your heads cuz you don't even remember any of it.

And being Italian - well - did you ever see the movie Fatso with Dom Deluise? Check out his sister in the movie - or the wives married to Don Corleone in the Godfather - we can be so unbearable!
 
It takes a lot to make me mad and once I am mad it takes me a long time to get over it. Jon gets mad quick but gets over it way quicker than I do. I have a fierce protective streak when it comes to my loved ones. Growing up in a house with constant fights between my Mom and Dad I tend to go out of my way to avoid discord to a point.
My mother in law and her second husband are always bickering about something and it drains the energy out of me to be around them because of it. I have a low tolerance for it I guess.
