Bought our new home yesterday!

We signed the closing paperwork yesterday, and we will be moving in the next couple of days! And of-course we have to do it all in-between rain storms, we have flash flood warnings, and it is sooooo wet:( I hope all my furniture does not get too wet!

I am glad our drought is broken, so I will refrain from too much complaining:)

We wound up getting a new (built in 2000 with 3 bdrm 2 bath) home and it is brick with vinyl siding, and has a deck out back and a little front porch and the yard is like a blank slate I will be planting all my own trees and shrubs and flowers!
 
Wow, Cath... How THRILLING for you, Eddie and L'il Maddie! (Will u be taking all the chickens?) CONGRATULATIONS!

If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be knocking on your door w/ a cheese-ball, a tube of crackers and maybe a naked bundt cake of some sort!

Hi Cookie! Any of tomorrow's severe winter weather supposed to hit you guys up north in the city? We here downstate are told we're really in for a MESS- possibly 6-8 inches of HEAVY/WET snow! And here I thought old man winter was BEHIND us!

Hi Chubby, Welcome back! We had some rain today and it was a little chilly, so much for Spring. They are saying we might get snow, I hope not! Cookie :)
 
My thanks to one and all! IC I love the Blessing! We are half-dead with aches and pains in every muscle and joint, my feet even ache, 2 of our "helpers" were a no-show! So.....THANK GOD this will be our last move EVER!!!!:) But we love the house, my Maddy LOVES the neighborhood there are lots of kids her age and she loves that!!! The house is georgeous in every way, such a blessing and we are saving $$$ on house pmt's vs. rent !!! Hip-hip hooray!!!!
