I had wondered how people saved so much using coupons. Buying in mass quantities and stacking printed coupons with ecoupons seems to be how they do it. Watching for items they have coupons for to be on sale adds to the savings.
I was reading Kroger recently changed their policies on stacking coupons and no longer allows it. They do double coupons up to .50 on double coupon days and you can use either an ecoupon or a printed coupon .. not both.

I use coupons myself but never like they do on that show. On good months I would manage to save around $30 on household stuff and around $20 on groceries using coupons.

up here the stores double coupons up to 99 cents - but unfortunately - our coupons are usually $1 off if you by xx amount
and sometimes you don't need 3 or 6 of the item to save a buck
and we don't have one supermarket up here that will accept any computer generated coupons at all

Yeah that is what I was telling Jon. Who has the room to store dozens and dozens of a single item? Or who can use them before they expire? Those people seem like hoarders to me.
